You have the right to cancel the opening of your fixed-rate savings account within 14 days from the date you applied for the account (the withdrawal period). The right of withdrawal applies only to the initial agreement and not to individual transactions carried out during the term of the account.
If you choose to withdraw, the account will be closed. Your money will be paid out to your nominated account as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days after we have received your notice that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Under laws on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, Myntro is required to have sufficient knowledge about you as a customer before entering into a contractual relationship. This is why we ask certain questions as part of the application process.

You can submit a complaint by contacting us at klagomal@myntro.com (please include “Complaint” in the subject line). We aim to handle complaints as quickly as possible. Complaints are normally answered within 14 days from the date the matter has been received by Myntro’s Complaints Officer. If the handling of your complaint is expected to take longer, you will be informed accordingly.

If you are not satisfied with the response you have received from Myntro, you may refer your case to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or to a general court. More information about ARN is available at www.arn.se
No. There are no fees for opening or holding a savings account.
The deposit guarantee means that the state compensates deposits up to a certain amount if an institution is unable to repay depositors’ money. In Sweden, the deposit guarantee is administered by the Swedish National Debt Office (Riksgälden), and compensation is normally paid out within seven working days from the date the guarantee is activated.
Yes. Funds deposited in savings accounts are covered by the Swedish state deposit guarantee under the Deposit Guarantee Act. The guarantee protects deposits up to 1 150 000 SEK per person and institution if the institution were to go bankrupt or if the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority decides that the guarantee should apply.
