Deposit Guarantee
Deposits with Myntro AB are covered by the Swedish state deposit guarantee, in accordance with decisions by the Swedish National Debt Office (Riksgälden). This means your money is protected up to 1 150 000 SEK per person and institution.
If an institution were to go bankrupt, or if the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority decides that the guarantee should apply, compensation is normally paid out by the Swedish National Debt Office within seven working days.
Distance Contracts Act
When you open a savings account with Myntro, you enter into a distance contract. The agreement is therefore subject to the Swedish Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts Act.
